About the Role

In this vital role, you will support themaintenance and operation of the building systems inside a client facility.As a Lead BuildingEngineeryou will lead shift operations and be the liaison for vendor and subcontractor relationships. You will alsomonitorbuilding systems operations and performance by performing preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles,equipmentand grounds. This roleappliesseveral trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing,heatingand cooling.

What You’ll Do

• Lead shift operations, assign work orders, and provide technical/procedural training to coworkers and subcontractors.

• Inspect building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.

• Arrange,overseeand inspect work performed by outside contractors.

• Stayin syncwith all applicable codes, regulations, governmentalagencyand company directives related to building operations and work safety.

• Consult with clients to schedule preventive maintenance and other downtime to minimize business interruption and inconvenience.

• Implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.

• Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoningadditionalassistance as needed.

• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and the Operations Maintenance team members.

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.

What You’ll Need

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• High School Diploma or GED and4+years' experiencein complete building operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Effective communication, presentation, problem solving and analytical skills.

• Knowledge of financial terms and principles, as well as financial reporting,forecastingand budgeting

• Proficiencyusing computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

• Physical requirementsincludingstooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Preferred Qualifications

• Universal CFC certification strongly preferred.Additionalcertification in one or more of the following: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing,carpentryor engine repair. Certifications/licenses as may be strongly preferred by local or statejurisdictions.
